Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake is primarily a zero to twenty-four multiplayer game with the basic goal of rescuing the Princess and bringing her back to the team's base. The players pick up and carry cakes to feed the Princess which makes her heavier and therefore harder for the enemy to carry back to their own castle. The game contains six character classes (The Villager, The Worker, The Priest, The Ranger, The Mage, and The Warrior) each of which helps contribute to the team's task of capturing the princess in a unique way over 17 different maps.
How to Play Fat Princess: Fist of Cake?
In Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake, the player joins one of two opposing groups with the goal of rescuing their team's princess from the other team's castle. In order to make their opponents' task more difficult, players can feed the captive princess more and more cake slices so that she will become heavier and harder to carry back to her respective castle.
What's New in Fat Princess: Fist of Cake?
There are four new Multiplayer modes exclusive to the PSP version: Castle siege, Dilapidated, Demolition, and Jailbreak. There are also new maps, six more levels than the original, and an expanded single player story mode with the new modes added into the storyline.
Fat Princess: Fist of Cake Characters
The Worker: Second fastest class. Starts with an axe, which upgrades to bombs. They upgrade hat machines, build siege devices, and gather resources. Has 4 hearts of health.
The Warrior: Melee class. Starts with a shield (able to block arrows) and sword, which upgrades to a glaive. The warrior can charge up melee attacks and, once upgraded, can charge forward with melee attacks. Has 6 hearts of health (the highest).
The Mage: Starts out with fire magic, which does damage over time. The class upgrades to ice magic, which can freeze enemies on the spot. The mage can also cast bolts of magic at enemies from a distance, or charge up an area-of-effect (AOE) spell that damages all surrounding enemies. Has 4 hearts of health.
The Priest: The priest can heal friendly units with healing beam (players must first be targeted). Like the mage, the priest can also charge up an area of effect spell, but rather than damaging all enemies within range the spell heals all allies within range; the longer time spent charging the more healing is done. The priest upgrades to the dark priest, who has the ability to drain health from enemies. The dark priest can also do a damaging area of effect spell that prevents enemy priests from healing their allies, and also causes enemies within range to temporarily lose control of their movement. Has 4 hearts of health.
The Ranger: The ranger begins with a bow that can damage enemies at a high range, this upgrades to a blunderbuss that fires a more wide spread shot if no player is targeted. The blunderbuss is more powerful than the bow, but with a lower speed of fire. The ranger can also dip his arrows into one of the many flaming torches around the castle (after ranger is upgraded) to shoot flaming arrows that cause more damage. Has 5 hearts of health.
The Villager: The default class. The villager carries no weapons but can slap enemies, causing them to drop any item they are carrying, which can be useful if that item is the princess. The villager runs faster than any other class, which is useful to speed things along. Has 2 hearts of health (the lowest).
